In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar explains Krishna's call to action. He urges Arjuna (the son of Pandu) to rise quickly and take up his bow. It signifies the transition from philosophical understanding to practical application of duty (Dharma) without hesitation.

This verse is a call to overcome procrastination and mental blocks. For example, when facing a difficult task at work, instead of overthinking, one should focus on the immediate duty and start working.

Lord Krishna encourages Arjuna to overcome his mental confusion and perform his duty as a warrior.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar compares a self-realized soul to the ocean. The ocean is inherently full and complete. During the monsoon, countless streams and rivers flow into it, yet the ocean never exceeds its boundaries or loses its composure. Similarly, even if sensory pleasures or external circumstances approach a wise person, they do not disturb his inner peace. He remains anchored in his true self, unaffected by the influx of worldly desires.

Maintain emotional stability in both success and failure. For example, if you receive a promotion, don't become arrogant, and if you face a loss, don't lose hope; stay composed like the ocean.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the state of a person with steady wisdom (Sthitaprajna) using the metaphor of the ocean.

In this verse, Dnyaneshwar Maharaj elaborates on the concept of Yajna (selfless sacrifice/duty). He explains that the cosmic law is designed such that when an individual performs their 'Swadharma' (prescribed duty) without selfish attachment, the universe provides for all their righteous needs. This 'Yajna' acts like a 'Kamadhenu' (divine cow), ensuring that the practitioner lacks nothing in their pursuit of a balanced and spiritual life.

Focus on the quality of your actions and the welfare of others. For instance, if a student treats their studies as a sacred duty rather than just a means to get a job, the knowledge and success they seek will naturally follow.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the conversation where the Creator tells beings that performing their duty (Yajna) will act as a wish-fulfilling cow.
