The verse highlights that self-effort and the pursuit of truth are the only remedies for a wavering mind.

In daily life, when faced with indecision or lack of confidence, instead of seeking external validation, one should invest time in learning and understanding the root cause. For instance, a student fearing a difficult subject can eliminate that 'doubt' by consistent study and gaining mastery over the concepts.

In the concluding verses of the fourth chapter, Shri Dnyaneshwar emphasizes the necessity of destroying doubt through the sword of wisdom.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes the transcendental attributes of the Soul (Atman). He describes it as 'Nitya' (eternal), 'Achal' (immovable), and 'Sanatan' (ancient/timeless). The core message is that the Soul exists beyond the physical realm and temporal changes. Furthermore, he notes that the Soul is 'Gahan' (profound), meaning it cannot be fully grasped by mere intellectual debate or logical reasoning, as it is the subject of direct spiritual experience rather than mental speculation.

Shri Krishna describes the immutable and eternal nature of the soul to Arjuna to dispel his fear of death and attachment.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar captures Krishna's exhortation to Arjuna. He tells Arjuna not to let his mind be deceived by temporary emotions or false logic. True strength lies in 'Dhīratā' (fortitude). By addressing him as 'Pandukumara', Krishna reminds him of his noble lineage and duty, urging him to stabilize his consciousness and face the reality of the battlefield.

In times of crisis, instead of letting anxiety take over, one should practice mindfulness and stay brave. Example: Staying calm and focused during a difficult professional challenge instead of overthinking the failure.

Lord Krishna advises Arjuna to stop deluding his mind with false logic and to maintain courage in the face of his duty.
