Since common people tend to imitate those they admire, a wise person must perform their duties with diligence and detachment. If a leader sets a high standard of conduct, the entire society naturally moves towards righteousness. This concept highlights that 'example is better than precept.'

In a corporate setting, if a CEO practices transparency and hard work, the employees are likely to adopt the same values. Leading by example is the most effective way to influence a community's culture.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains that doubt is not a fundamental reality but a product of ignorance. He compares doubt to a 'padal' (a film or cataract over the eye) that obscures vision. To regain clarity, one must use the 'Jnana-shastra' (the weapon of knowledge). This scholarly interpretation suggests that intellectual conviction combined with spiritual experience is the only way to overcome the paralysis caused by indecision and lack of faith.

In practical life, whenever you are paralyzed by indecision, seek the truth and gather facts. For instance, if you doubt your ability to complete a project, gain the necessary skills and information; this knowledge will automatically remove the doubt and give you the confidence to act.

In the concluding verses of the fourth chapter, Krishna (through Dnyaneshwar's commentary) urges Arjuna to slash through the confusion of the mind using the sword of self-realization.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar characterizes his work, the Dnyaneshwari, as a 'Ratnakara'—an ocean of words and meanings. He explains that the text is saturated with 'Prameyamruta', the nectar of ultimate spiritual truths. Most importantly, he humbles himself by stating that this grand composition was made possible only through 'Shriguruprasade', the profound grace of his Guru, Shri Nivrutthinath. This reflects the traditional Indian value of attributing one's intellectual and spiritual achievements to one's lineage and mentors.
