Similarly, a wise person performs all necessary duties and actions required by their station in life, but they do not let the ego of 'I am the doer' touch their consciousness. Since there is no attachment to the results or the pride of action, these deeds do not bind the individual to the cycle of karma.

In daily life, perform your duties (like studying, working, or helping others) without bragging about them. For example, a tree gives fruit but does not eat it itself; similarly, we should work for the welfare of others without letting success inflate our ego.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains how a realized soul performs actions without attachment or the ego of being the doer.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes that doubt is the most heinous sin because it acts as a silent destroyer of one's spiritual and worldly progress. While ignorance can be removed by knowledge, a doubting mind refuses to accept the truth even when presented with it. It leads to a total downfall of the individual's character and resolve. The 'piercing' nature of doubt destroys the very foundation of faith required for any achievement.

To succeed in any endeavor, one must have unwavering faith. For example, if a student doubts their preparation during an exam, they might make mistakes even in known answers. Confidence is the key to overcoming the 'sin' of doubt.

Every thought, word, and action of such a person is saturated with the essence of truth and self-realization, leaving no room for the darkness of ignorance.

Integrity and wisdom should be like the fragrance of musk—present in every small action you take, not just in major life decisions. For example, a truly kind person shows kindness even in the smallest, unnoticed gestures.
