Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes the concept of 'Loksangraha' (guiding society). He argues that influential individuals have a moral obligation to act righteously. Since the masses tend to imitate their leaders, any lapse in the leader's conduct can lead to social degradation. Thus, a 'Samartha' (capable person) must be exemplary in their actions to ensure the common people follow a righteous path.

A leader in an organization must exhibit the values they want their team to adopt. For example, if a CEO practices transparency and punctuality, the entire company culture naturally aligns with those values.

Shri Krishna explains why the wise and powerful must perform their duties diligently to set a standard for society.

In this verse, Arjuna expresses a deep moral crisis. He argues that the very purpose of seeking power and wealth (kingdom) is to enjoy it with loved ones. If those loved ones are killed in the process of acquiring that power, the victory becomes hollow and bitter. This reflects the 'Vishad' (despair) where personal attachment clouds the sense of 'Dharma' (duty). Dnyaneshwar Maharaj captures this sentiment of Arjuna's attachment which makes him renounce even the highest worldly gains.

It teaches us to evaluate the cost of our success. If success comes at the cost of destroying relationships or ethical values, it may not bring true happiness. Example: Choosing a career path that doesn't force you to betray your integrity or family values.

Arjuna is overwhelmed by grief seeing his relatives on the battlefield and questions the purpose of a victory achieved by killing them.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar uses the metaphor of a 'mine of jewels' to describe the profound wisdom contained within the Dnyaneshwari. He suggests that the words used in this composition are not ordinary but are like precious gems that provide spiritual enlightenment. The 'Lavani' (composition) is designed in such a way that it brings bliss to all beings across the three worlds. It highlights the universal appeal and the transformative power of divine knowledge conveyed through poetic excellence.

In daily life, we should recognize the power of our words. Just as the saint describes words as jewels, we can use kind and wise speech to heal others and spread happiness in our community, much like sharing a treasure.
