Whether you are a leader or a team member, if your intent is selfless and your focus is on the work itself rather than the reward, you achieve the same mental peace and excellence. Example: A doctor treating a patient for service and a researcher finding a cure for humanity are both performing 'Yoga' in their own way.

Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that the path of renunciation and the path of selfless action lead to the same goal.
