In daily life, practice performing your duties without constantly thinking 'I am doing this great task.' For example, when a professional plays an instrument with total absorption, the music flows through them; they are not 'doing' it, they have become the music. This reduces stress and improves quality.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains how an enlightened soul remains untouched by actions, similar to ripples on water.

Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes that doubt is fundamentally rooted in ignorance. As long as a person lacks true understanding or self-realization, doubt continues to gain strength, acting as a major obstacle to spiritual and worldly success. Just as darkness can only be dispelled by light, the 'fire' or 'flame' of knowledge must be ignited to burn away these doubts immediately. It highlights that clarity comes only through the pursuit of truth and wisdom.

In practical life, whenever you face uncertainty or hesitation regarding a task, seek expert knowledge and facts. For example, if a professional is doubtful about a project's success, gaining technical expertise and data (knowledge) will eliminate the doubt and provide the confidence to proceed.

In the concluding part of the fourth chapter, Saint Dnyaneshwar explains Shri Krishna's instruction to Arjuna about destroying the doubt residing in the heart using the sword of knowledge.

By 'digging out the root of ignorance,' the seeker eliminates the fundamental cause of bondage—the false identification with the ego. Once the 'fascination' or 'pride' of action is discarded, the individual no longer feels like the independent doer of deeds. In such a state of consciousness, divine knowledge becomes permanently established and steady.

Practice performing your duties without seeking personal glory. For instance, if you help a colleague, do it because it is the right thing to do, not to receive praise or feel superior.
