Dnyaneshwar Maharaj elucidates that a seeker who has unified their intellect with the Divine (Yoga) loses attachment to the fruits of action. In the light of self-realization, all doubts and dualities are eradicated. Such a person remains poised in their true Self. Even while performing worldly duties, because the ego of 'doership' is absent, they are not bound by the merits or demerits of their actions. They attain true spiritual freedom.

In daily life, focus on the process rather than the outcome. For example, a professional who performs their duty with full dedication but without being obsessed with praise or blame remains mentally free and efficient.

Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna how a person established in self-knowledge and yoga remains untouched by the bondage of actions.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar illustrates the state of a 'Virakta' (a detached soul). He uses the metaphor of the 'Kshirsagar' (the mythological ocean of milk) to describe the depth and calmness of such a person's mind. Just as the infinite ocean remains undisturbed regardless of the rivers flowing into it, a person of steady wisdom remains unaffected by the dualities of the world. Desires (Kama) and anger (Krodha) fail to create any ripples of agitation in their consciousness. This equanimity is the result of profound spiritual realization.

In daily life, practice maintaining inner composure during stressful situations. For example, if someone criticizes you unfairly, instead of reacting with immediate anger, try to remain as steady as the ocean and respond with a clear mind.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes that doubt is a product of ignorance. As long as one lacks true understanding or self-knowledge, doubts continue to grow and cloud the mind, hindering spiritual and worldly progress. However, the 'sword of discrimination' (Viveka) is the only tool capable of cutting through this ignorance. When a person applies logical reasoning and spiritual wisdom, doubt is destroyed at its very root, leading to clarity and peace.

In practical life, whenever you face uncertainty or lack of confidence, do not let it fester. Instead, use 'Viveka' (critical thinking and study) to understand the situation. Example: If you doubt your career path, researching and seeking mentorship (knowledge) will eliminate the confusion.
