Instead, one should use action as a tool to transcend the cycle of cause and effect. He provides a brilliant analogy: just as a physician uses a controlled dose of poison as an antidote to neutralize poison in the body, a seeker uses 'right action' (performed without ego or desire for results) to destroy the binding nature of worldly karma.

Instead of avoiding a difficult responsibility, perform it with a sense of service. For example, if a professional task feels overwhelming, instead of procrastinating, engaging in it with full focus and without worrying about the outcome eventually removes the stress associated with that task.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the technique of neutralizing the binding effects of action by performing action without attachment.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar uses the beautiful metaphor of the Chakora bird and the full moon. According to Indian mythology, the Chakora bird is said to live only on moonbeams. Just as the sight of the full moon brings absolute peace and joy to the Chakora, a person who has attained self-realization remains equanimous and joyful in all circumstances. Such a person sees the same divine essence in everyone and does not differentiate between people or situations, maintaining a cool and pleasant temperament like the moon.

Practice treating everyone with the same kindness, regardless of their status or your personal mood. For example, being equally polite to a service worker as you are to a high-ranking official.

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the characteristics of a Sthitaprajna (a person of steady wisdom) who remains equanimous in all situations.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar highlights the arrival of key figures on the Pandava side. King Drupada, the five sons of Draupadi, and the valiant Abhimanyu (son of Subhadra and Arjuna) have joined the battlefield with their respective military divisions. This illustrates the collective strength and determination of the forces of righteousness (Dharma) gathered to face the challenge of the Kauravas.

In any major undertaking, the collective participation of skilled individuals is vital. For example, in a corporate project, the combined expertise of different team members leads to a successful outcome.
