Conversely, the spiritual truth and self-knowledge, which the common man ignores (is asleep to), is the very realm where the sage is fully awake and conscious.

In a world obsessed with material gain and social media validation, a wise person focuses on inner peace and character, remaining 'asleep' to superficial trends while staying 'awake' to their inner growth.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes the concept of 'Loksangraha' or the welfare of the world. Therefore, to guide humanity toward the right path (Sanmarga), Arjuna must perform his prescribed duties with discipline and detachment.

In daily life, leaders, parents, and teachers should act responsibly because their behavior sets a standard for others. For example, a manager who stays disciplined and ethical inspires their entire team to follow suit.
