Dnyaneshwar Maharaj emphasizes that the actions of great leaders or wise individuals serve as a blueprint for the masses. If the 'Samartha' (capable/wise) performs righteous actions, the common people follow suit. This verse highlights the social responsibility of the enlightened to lead by example rather than just preaching. It aligns with the principle that 'action speaks louder than words'.

In a corporate setting, if a CEO follows ethical practices and punctuality, the employees naturally adopt those values. Leading by example is more effective than giving instructions.

Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna through Dnyaneshwar's commentary why a wise person must continue to perform actions to set an example for society.

Saint Dnyaneshwar uses the metaphor of dissolution to explain the concept of Moksha. When the individual 'I-consciousness' dissolves into the 'Universal Consciousness' through Atma-bodha (Self-knowledge), the separate identity vanishes. Just as a salt crystal cannot regain its solid form once dissolved in the ocean, an enlightened soul cannot be pulled back into the cycle of birth and death. The destruction of ignorance (Avidya) ensures that the soul attains a state of eternal peace and non-return.

Once you gain mastery over a skill or understand a deep truth, you cannot return to the state of not knowing it. Similarly, spiritual awakening is an irreversible transformation that changes your perspective on life forever.

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar emphasizes the sanctity of Kurukshetra, calling it a 'Dharmakshetra' (field of righteousness). It signifies that the upcoming battle is not just a physical conflict but a moral one. The convergence of both armies at such a holy site suggests that the outcome will be governed by the laws of Dharma (justice and truth).

In daily life, we often face situations that test our integrity. Just as Kurukshetra was a test of Dharma, our choices define our character. Example: Choosing to be honest in a business deal even when a shortcut is available.

This verse describes the gathering of the two opposing armies on the sacred field of Kurukshetra.
