When a seeker is unsure of the path or the self, their progress halts. The 'stumbling' of the intellect refers to the inability to make right decisions or perceive the ultimate truth.

In daily life, doubt acts as a barrier to success. For example, if a professional doubts their skills during a presentation, they will likely falter. Overcoming doubt with knowledge and faith is essential for clarity.

When we face challenges, we often make excuses to avoid them. This is self-delusion. Example: If a student avoids a difficult subject by saying 'it's not useful', they are deluding themselves. They should instead recognize their potential and face the challenge with courage.
