💡 Meaning

The offering is Brahman, the oblation is Brahman, the fire is Brahman, and the sacrificer is also Brahman.

🔍 Deep Interpretation

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar elaborates on the concept of Advaita (non-duality) within the context of action. He explains that for a realized soul, the instruments of action, the materials used, the process of sacrifice, and the performer themselves are all manifestations of the same ultimate reality, Brahman. This holistic vision transforms every mundane act into a divine ritual, freeing the individual from the ego-driven bonds of karma.

🎯 Practical Application

Practice mindfulness by seeing the divine in daily chores. For example, while cooking, view the ingredients, the heat, and yourself as parts of one divine energy. This shifts work from a burden to a spiritual practice.

📌 Context

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the vision of non-duality where every aspect of an action is seen as the Divine.

अनावरु Adjective

💡 Meaning

Just as the wind at the time of cosmic dissolution cannot be restrained, O Hero, so is this group of senses always uncontrollable.

🔍 Deep Interpretation

In this verse, Saint Dnyaneshwar uses a powerful metaphor of the 'Pralaya' wind (the wind at the end of the universe). He explains that just as the catastrophic winds of dissolution are impossible to stop or control, the collective force of the human senses is naturally turbulent. They possess the power to overwhelm the intellect and pull the mind toward worldly desires. This highlights the necessity of spiritual discipline and constant vigilance to master one's own nature.

🎯 Practical Application

In modern life, distractions like social media notifications act like the 'Pralaya' wind. If we do not practice mindfulness, these sensory triggers control our time and focus completely.

📌 Context

Saint Dnyaneshwar explains the turbulent and powerful nature of the human senses to Arjuna.

🔍 Deep Interpretation

Dnyaneshwar Maharaj emphasizes that leaders and influential figures carry a heavy social responsibility. Since the masses tend to follow the footsteps of the 'Great' (Samartha), any lapse in their conduct could mislead society. Thus, for the sake of social order and guidance, realized souls or leaders must continue to perform their duties with perfection, even if they have no personal gain from it.

🎯 Practical Application

A leader's behavior sets the standard for the team. For instance, if a CEO practices transparency and punctuality, the employees are likely to be honest and disciplined as well.

📌 Context

Shri Krishna, through Saint Dnyaneshwar, explains why leaders and realized souls must continue to perform their duties to set a standard for society.
