In professional or personal life, perform your tasks with full dedication but without letting your ego take ownership of the results. For example, if you lead a team to success, view yourself as an instrument of the work rather than the sole creator of the success.

This realization is fundamental to Sankhya Yoga, teaching that while the physical body is subject to change and decay, the underlying consciousness remains eternal and untouched.

Dnyaneshwar Maharaj emphasizes that ignorance is the seed of all karmic bondage. Just as a massive pile of wood cannot withstand a blazing fire, the accumulated results of countless actions cannot survive the fire of self-knowledge. This 'Jnana-Agni' (fire of knowledge) doesn't just suppress karma but completely eradicates its influence by removing the 'doership' rooted in ignorance. Once the realization of the true self dawns, the cycle of cause and effect is broken.

In daily life, understanding the root cause of a problem (knowledge) eliminates the stress and repetitive mistakes (karma) associated with it. For example, once you learn the correct way to solve a complex task, the previous struggle and errors disappear.
