Abbas wrote the column 'Last Page' for the Blitz magazine, which holds the record for being the longest-running political column in the history of Indian journalism.
He wrote the scripts for some of Raj Kapoor's greatest films, including 'Awaara', 'Shree 420', and 'Bobby'.
