Panchatantra

The Panchatantra is an ancient Indian collection of interrelated animal fables in Sanskrit verse and prose, arranged within a frame story. Traditionally attributed to Vishnu Sharma, it teaches principles of statecraft and worldly wisdom through five books. It is one of the most translated non-religious manuscripts in history, influencing global folklore and literature.
