Today, August 20th, marks an important day for India for several reasons. While we observe Durga Ashtami Vrat and commemorate the legacies of B.K.S. Iyengar, Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, Ram Sharan Sharma, and P.N. Oak, we also celebrate a crucial national observance: Akshay Urja Diwas, or Indian Renewable Energy Day. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the indispensable role renewable energy plays in safeguarding our planet and securing a sustainable future for all.
